Challenge
The client operated an accommodation business with solid SEO and PPC in place. Despite this, the vast majority of bookings came through Booking.com. Their own website generated only 6% completed bookings - visitors abandoned the booking interface, which was confusing and difficult to navigate.
Solution
After a thorough analysis of user behavior, I designed a complete redesign of the booking interface. The new solution was intuitive, with a clear step-by-step process. Users stopped getting lost and completed their bookings directly on the website.
Impact
The booking completion rate rose from 6% to 38%. Dependency on Booking.com dropped significantly, resulting in direct savings on commissions and greater control over customer relationships.
